Company Updates 

Lightning Labs discusses the release of Taproot Assets on Lightning, which allows for the minting and instant sending of multiple assets on the bitcoin network. This development expands the use of Lightning as an interoperability layer and is expected to greatly benefit stablecoin users in emerging markets.

Block, Inc. and Core Scientific have formed a partnership to decentralize mining hardware through the integration of advanced 3nm mining ASICs into Core Scientific's large-scale operations.

Metaplanet Inc. and Hoseki have partnered to launch a Bitcoin proof-of-reserves system, aiming to increase transparency and trust in Metaplanet's Bitcoin holdings. This collaboration showcases verified assets in real time and aligns with Bitcoin's 'Don't Trust, Verify' ethos.

Product Updates

Fold announces its newly added capability to handle 100% of monthly expenses in both bitcoin and dollars. It also introduces the "Bill Pay Rewards" feature, which offers up to 1.5% bitcoin back on bills paid via ACH.

Bitcoin Well is relaunching its OTC desk service with improved features for businesses and individuals to efficiently and safely buy and use Bitcoin. They are offering a 21% referral payout for large transactions and are focused on promoting the safe and responsible use of self-custody for Bitcoin.

Breez is expanding its Lightning SDK by adding a Liquid implementation, allowing for more versatility and options in using bitcoin. This move is geared towards further scaling and compatibility with other last-mile technologies.
