Company Updates 

Mt. Gox, a now-defunct digital asset exchange that once dominated the Bitcoin trading market, has announced that it will start repaying its creditors in July 2024, nearly a decade after its collapse and loss of approximately $9 billion in assets. This marks a significant milestone in a saga that has involved legal battles, technical delays, and a major impact on the Bitcoin market.

CleanSpark has acquired five new bitcoin mining facilities in Georgia, adding 60 MW of infrastructure to their portfolio. The acquisition is expected to increase the Company's operating hashrate to over 20 EH/s by the end of the month.

MicroStrategy, a leading business intelligence and software company, has continued its aggressive investment strategy in Bitcoin by purchasing an additional 11,931 BTC for $786 million.

Product Updates

Strike, a U.S.-based bitcoin company, has expanded its services to the UK. This allows individuals and businesses in the UK to access a suite of bitcoin and Lightning services, including buying and selling bitcoin, global payments, and a bitcoin wallet.

Lava is launching two new financial products, Lava Free Pay and Lava Exchange, which aim to improve the user experience and accessibility of digital currencies, particularly Bitcoin. These products offer features such as seamless global payments, access to stablecoins, and a self-custody asset management platform.

Trezor has released the Trezor Safe 5. A state-of-the-art hardware wallet for managing cryptocurrency that offers both unparalleled security and a tactile user experience.
