Company Updates 

CleanSpark, an American bitcoin mining company, has announced its plans to acquire two mining sites in Wyoming for $18.75 million and, expects to add over four exahash per second to its hashrate once fully operational.

A legal battle between the SEC and Coinbase highlights a disagreement over the need for new digital asset regulations. Coinbase argues that current laws stifle innovation and has petitioned for new rules, while the SEC maintains that existing regulations adequately protect investors and promote capital formation.

Bitfarms, a bitcoin mining company, has unexpectedly terminated its chief executive Geoffrey Morphy without a replacement after he launched a lawsuit against the company.

Product Updates

Popular Bitcoin wallet Wasabi will no longer offer its Coinjoin feature due to increasing regulatory hostility from U.S. authorities targeting privacy protocols.

Coldcard released updates for their Mk4 and Q devices, both now sharing the same codebase. The updates include improved features for both devices, such as the ability to export multisig XPUBs, import multisig via QR code, and make use of full-screen displays for v23 and v24 QR codes.

MicroStrategy has announced the launch of its decentralized identity platform, MicroStrategy Orange, built on the Bitcoin network. This platform allows organizations to utilize decentralized identity applications with robust security and immutability features.
