Hire Part-time, Flexible Bitcoin Talent
Since officially launching at the beginning of 2023, we’ve been hard at work helping Bitcoin companies to identify, attract, and onboard top talent. Despite the technology sector experiencing 300,000 layoffs in the first six months of this year, we have already successfully executed a wide range of searches for not just technical talent, but across sales, marketing, and finance roles too, and from individual-contributors to C-Level executives. We are proud to call market-leading companies like Unchained, Stakwork, Relai, and many more partners and clients.
Our core service offering to date has been retained search; but as we seek to build the all-encompassing Talent Operating System for the Bitcoin ecosystem, we strongly believe that full-time hires are just one component of a successful company’s workforce. Seeking to meet the market and its demands, we are excited to launch a new service – FLEX™ by Bitcoin Talent Co.
What is FLEX™?
Put simply, FLEX™ is flexible talent that augments your full-time workforce. It is contract work, advisory work, and fractional-exec services offered for fixed-length engagements at a flat fee. We handle all paperwork, billing, and payroll, eliminating as much of the hassle as possible so Bitcoin startups can focus on building their product or service with the additional support they need minus all the extra headaches involved.
What Led to FLEX™?
Our core service offering since launch has been retained search for full-time hires ranging from individual contributors to executives under every function. While talking with dozens of founders and senior leaders in the Bitcoin ecosystem about full-time hiring needs, we found flexible support to be equally needed, especially in times when the cost of capital is high, funding is constrained, and reducing burn is a necessity.
To help some of our earliest clients, including TFTC and Onramp, complete shorter-duration projects, we quickly matched them with a range of flexible talent from interns to mid-level designers in our proprietary talent pool. Choosing to employ flexible talent allowed both of these companies to save costs during the early stages of company growth so they could meet the salary expectations of key full-time hires when the timing was right.
Since then, we have been steadily building a bench of high-caliber talent across multiple disciplines like Engineering, Design, Sales, Marketing, and Operations to support more flexible hiring needs from our current and future clients. This talent is a pre-vetted and hand-selected group of passionate Bitcoiners who have previously supported well-known companies like Unchained, Swan, BTC Inc., Trezor, and River. Now, our flexible talent pool is ready to support additional Bitcoin companies that need it.
Why FLEX™?
At the earliest stages of company building, it would be ill-advised to spend precious financial capital on building too large a team. Speed and flexibility are sacrificed too early and you also assume all of the costs that full-time employees incur beyond their salaries alone.
